Heartthrob Carlo of course played the ever popular joker Danny Amatullo in all 6 seasons of Fame from 1982 to 1987. No one could ever figure out why Danny didn’t graduate!

 

Carlo’s career started at the age of 13 in the stage musical  “Runaways” which took him to Broadway by the time he was 15. Afterwards he appeared in a number of movies, most notably “The Man In The Santa Claus Suit” with Fred Astaire.

After “Fame” as well as starring in a number of stage plays Carlo also appeared in a few TV shows like “Friends” and Grey’s Anatomy.

These days family man Carlo is more at home behind the scenes as a prop builder. He also deals in real estate. Although he still finds time to perform in Debbie Allen’s “The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker” every Christmas.
